Specs:

SONY VAIO E Series (2013)

i7

8GB RAM

Fresh install on this machine. I made a beat with stock instruments only and my CPU is flipping out. I am running a 64-machine and install of S1v3.2.

I noticed the CPU only spikes when hit chords (6 finger chords).

Here are some pics of my setup:

That "112" is the Acoustic Piano Ballad preset.

ONLY TWELVE INSTRUMENTS RUNNING!!! angry

Try loading Studio one with NO plugins. If the CPU drops, then you know it's one of your plug-ins. Make sure they are all up to date, then add them one by one until you find the offending plugin. Check with the plugin vendor to see if they are aware of any issues. If there is still an issue, then log an post in the Studio One Forum Community Support so the developers can see your post. They monitor that area extensively.

As a precaution, run DPC Latency checker to see if there are any processes or other devices on your system that may be interfering with real time audio operations.
