Good day,

I tried out the demo of studio one V5 (because i needed to try out a midi controller to see if its compatible) So, I did a song in V5, and during this time, I really saw no reason to pay and upgrade to V5. I'm quite happy with V3.

However, now I cannot get the song that I recorded in the demo to open or work in V3.

How can this be resolved?

You probably should have made a copy of your project before you upgraded to V5.  The process of upgrading with pretty much all software is not reversible.

There is a free version of V5.  Can you get that and see if you can recover some of the elements from your new song?
