I understand that there are Feature Requests (FRs) visible in this forum with only +3 net upvotes that were posted four months ago. My FR was only visible for four days before it was hidden by who I can only assume was an admin, but I have no way of knowing for sure.

I'm not entirely sure why this has happened. Was the feature already being implemented? If so, why are there still three visible Smart Tool FRs, when the feature was implemented in version 3.2? Was the post downvoted too far? If so, why was my post hovering around 0 net votes when there are several that are aged a week or older with -4 net votes or so? Will my FR never happen? Then why wasn't this posted as an answer, or even allowed to be downvoted, instead of the FR being hidden?

I have to say, I'm not exactly happy that my FR was hidden without notice and seemingly for no reason. I gave plenty of examples in my FR, explained my reasoning, and talked at length about it all, vs. some FRs here with a line of text vaguely describing the feature in question. I was polite, left the developers an immense amount of room for their own plans even if my request was followed directly, and made sure the forum knew what my FR was about by editing the title to match the request. I don't see anything out of line.

Please contact me if you know what might have happened. I would really like to know why this post was hidden.

This software does have a container for hidden posts, and I don't see any hidden posts with your name on it.

To see where your posts when click on your avatar and click on My Updates, then click on My Content to see where the post you that you are asking about has landed.

We have found that nearly 50% of the questions asked here are in the wrong category and we spend a lot of time recategorizing questions. Perhaps this post is one of those recategorized questions.

If you have asked a question that is already possible and does not classify as a feature request, then it will be moved to a question category that is not part of the feature request area. (for example this question was asked in Studio One 3 Feature Requests and I moved it to Customer Portal because it is a question about how this system works).

If you have asked a question this a duplicate, then it may be hidden. We urge that you search before posting. If you have a similar idea to a feature request that already exists, then add an answer to that question and vote the question up.
