When editing an arrangement, it is nice to try removing measures, especially when trying to reduce the final length of a composition. I.e. "Maybe I'll keep these parts but remove these". Currently, it's a pain to actually delete measures along with their events only to restore them if the final decision is to keep the measures. "Hiding" measures would make such experiments easy and reversible.
