I haven't used the Studio One Remote for a while, but with the new release to version 5.2 and the update to VSL Synchron Player, I thought I'd give it a go.

When I open Studio One Remote on my tablet (Galaxy Tab A-16) and press scan, nothing happens.

The desktop Remote App works fine, so this must be a networking issue, but I'm stuck as I now use a DECO M5 mesh system  (I don't remember if it worked after I switched to this new WiFi).

I have access to my Synology from the tablet, so I can access other devices connected via ethernet.

I wonder if this is a bug with the new version of Studio One  (or it could be because I'm not sure I have got the DECO M5 to accept UDP )?

I was using the remote control app with my laptop earlier, with the most recent build of Studio One Pro.  So, the update to Studio One has not broken the remote control functionality, in my personal experience.  You don't mention your platform, but as a windows user I am aware that if your computer with studio One has it's windows network profile set to public then it will have issues connecting.  You need to set your network preferences to home, not public.  That would be the easiest and first thing to check.  Also make sure you have enabled the "allow remote apps to find computer" option in options in Studio One.  I don't use mesh networks so I can't advice your there.  I wouldn't waste your time with guesses after that.
