Starting to work / learn midi, after recording I'd like to edit midi but cannot open the midi editor window. Double clicking the midi track does not open the midi editor only the mixer window. What am I doing wrong?

OS version 10.10.5

iMac (21.5-inch, Mid 2011)

2.8 GHz Intel Core i7

Universal Apollo 8

Did you accidentally detatch your edit window from the main window? Double click the MIDI again and look at the bottom right corner of S1. If the "Edit" button is highlighted, and you aren't seeing your editor, then its detached. If thats the case, try minimizing your main window, and see if you see it then. then use the arrow in the top right corner of to re-attatch it. If that is not the case, try uninstalling and reinstalling S1. the 3.2 update may have caused a bug.

That's expected behavior. You will need to click the Instrument parts you want to edit. When clicking the track (where the track controls are), it will execute the command Show in console.
