It would be very useful to have a customizable tool that makes consecutive dashes that start and end in whatever measures you select the way cresc..., dim..., and 8va... work. This would be customizable in that you could use your own word such as a fingering number with dashes to show to keep that finger down for the number of measures covered. You can't use text dashes because they will not wrap around a system.
