Does Microsoft Silverlight interfere with Studio One recording process?

I was trying to watch a movie on Netflix on my Mac Book Pro with Sierra version 10.12.6. A window pops up saying I need to install Microsoft Silverlight to view anything on Netflix.
So, I need to know if Microsoft Silverlight will interfere with the Presonus Studio One 4.6.2 recording DAW. & if I should install it for watching Netflix as well.

You can fix this after connecting to the netflix movies free download techbigs app with your device.
