Question

I just want to use the studiolive 32r as an intrerface. I want to plug into input 1 , have signal record in my daw and retarn out of the main left and right outputs like a standard interface. is this not possible? I don't want to return signal to inputs 1 or 2 and go through the mixer again. I don't understand this set up. Very confusing. I am able to get sound following the maual instructions routing it that way but its a weird set up and does not work correctly.
