Question

So I have something very strange going on I just got a audiobox 96 and am having major headaches with it. If I just plug it in it works for playback but not for recording since it doesn't have it's ASIO driver, but if I install all it's drivers with universal control I have to power cycle it anytime it is left with no activity for a minute. I am running windows 10 pro

I would still like a non workaround solution but I have just had success using ASIO pro link (it is free) in my case I didn't even need to edit anything after initial setup. You need to disable audiobox as a sound device in windows then run ASIO pro link after that I just selected the audiobox driver left sample rate at preferred buffer at 512 and channel in and out at 2. Playback and recording work for me this way.
