Hey folks,

In a recent project, I tried a new workflow using the bounce event method (ctrl alt b). This is a great feature and method to rapidly build up layers of sound when you have a low-end machine. In essence, you record the track section you want. You then bounce just that event. You then go back to the same event, change your vst sound, check it, then bounce it again.

Unfortunately though when you bounce just an event the midi note data does not go along for the ride like it does when you convert a track to audio.

I thought it would be a nice little feature add to provide the option. In the menu it could be Bounce Event with Midi and for a key short cut you could add in shift to the pattern, as in Ctrl Shift Alt B.

I'm not sure I understand your workflow (why you are doing it this way).

If it is an Instrument track that you want to "re-use", why not duplicate it (fully), transform the original to an audio track (to save your resources), then continue building out the arrangement on the new track?
