If you check this video  the user has developed a clever way to select a set of tracks to be simultaneously visible on the mixer and assigned to the Faderport faders. It is, however, achieved through track naming, visibility filters and macros on StudioOne. It works but messes your track names and takes some work to setup.

I think it would be cool to have a system that provided this feature in an easier way. A way to define sets of tracks, for example, drums, guitars, vocals, etc, and through a key command make them simultaneously the only set of tracks visible on the screen, (especially in Console) and automatically assigned to the Faderport. In this way you could focus on working on a set of instruments (drums, guitars) for a while without jumping banks on the Faderport - the selected group of tracks would be readily assigned to the Faderport with a single key command.

Thoughts on this???
