Hello,

I don't understand why PreSonus studio one is so user-unfriendly when it comes to exporting & importing faderport 8/16 , Atom SQ  or any other surface controller settings.

I now know they are stored in  .surfacedata files. A simple option to export all or a selection of assigned devices would be a live saver here. This would also fix the annoying issue that there is no option to copy the VST2 surface setting to a VST3 version of a plugin. They are now considered to be two different plugins due to their different deviceID. This results in assigning each fader/knob manually for each vst2 and vst3 version of a plugin.

Make this a part of the plugin manager where it shows the assignment per controller surface with an import/export button (imagine a link with exchange!). This should be a default option in a professional DAW, not something that requires the user to located and manually edit XML files.

Now it's impossible to backup, export or imports any surface controller fader/knob assignment from Presonus studio one.
