So I am in the process of releasing songs for what is to be an album. I have written, recorded and mixed and...frankly everything in Studio One 4. It's been great, so far.
I am in the process of trying to upload my third "single" and as I'm listening to the upload/mixdown I noticed that a major effect that I have automated in the ending is not playing properly. I open up the mix in Studio One and everything is right and plays like it's supposed to. So I make another mixdown; same results. The ending part comes up and nothing happens like it's supposed to.
I can upload this song without this part, at least for the single version. But the final release really needs to have this part as it's meant to represent a particular feeling inherent to the song. Feels a little empty and muted without it.
To be clear: I have set all tracks to "Read" for the automation. I've double checked that everything is working properly in Studio One. For whatever reason, it's not translating into the mixdown. Any thoughts on how to fix this?
