I asked this question early June, then, having not received any answers, raised a support ticket. My M1 Mac wants to install Rosetta and my intel Mac systems report says that UC is an Intel application, not Universal, as it reports other native applications. Presonus support says that apple reporting the app as Intel is a "non issue" and closed my ticket, suggesting I talked to Apple about it. For me this is an issue as I want to run native/Universal only apps on my new build. Seems is an issue for you also, perhaps others (I assume you mean Presonus not NI in the context of UC, Universal control ?) ?
