Question

My Studio one GUI is always on top. I have to minimize the windo in order to go to other widows, e.g if i have my Studio one open, and the ni want to open my Chrome from the task bar, I need to minimize Studio one to see the background window.

Also, alt-tab doesnt work

Absolutely!

And it's completely counterintuitive as we are all used to every other software (DAWs or not) that always behaves as we expect, with windows normally going "to the back"

Yeah, this is annoying. I can't believe there is not a way to change that behavior.

This definitely needs to be a native feature. On mac, you can install Afloat X (via Macforge) and make Studio One default to being the backmost window, which takes care of the problem.
