Question

This may be a dumb question, but, I've got to ask. If I were to purchase a StudioLive 32SC, would that give me the ability to record multiple channels simultaneously in StudioOne and function as a DAW control surface?

Would that be the same with a 24R (minus the control surface)? And the UC Software +24R would be the same thing (at least similar)?
