Is it possible to Control "Sends" on selected track in "Studio One" with a MIDI Controller?

Yes.  It's super easy provided your MIDI controller is recognized by Studio One.  For instance,  I have an Emu Xboard MIDI controller connected to Studio One.  If I turn a knob on my MIDI controller, Studio One immediately notices it here:

You can see in the pic above that Studio One recognized knob 1 on my Xboard MIDI controller.  I can then right-click on a send level in a track and assign it to that knob.  Here you can see that I right-clicked on the send level to Bus 1 and can assign it to knob 1 on my MIDI controller.

After the send level is assigned to the knob on my MIDI controller I can control the send level in real-time with the knob.  I can also record the knob movement to create an automation envelope.

Thank you, and thank you for taking time to explain this. But this is not the issue. I want to be able to control the "Sends" on any selected channel. What you suggest only control the one parameter assigned to the controller. But, thank you.

There was one particular website that helped me with this before. But the site is down now, it used to be called daw.one. I had it pinned on my getPocket.com application but the site goes no where now. The key search terms would include "Creating Your Own Custom Basic External Device". That site went into simple XML coding. I'm looking for a similar solution again, since when I updated from version 3 to version 5 - I seem to have lost the functionality. I took it for granted and thought it was a native feature. I completely forgot my controller script was custom made!

Here is a solution I am using to control Sends on Selected Track in Studio One. (I just found out)  I use ********* X-Touch mini MIDI controller in "Mackie MC Mode" (“Mackie Control Mode"). In Studio One go to "Preferences" "External Devices" and "Add..." "Mackie” then “Control"  (About half way down) Not New Keyboard, not New Instrument. not New Control Surface, not Unknown Vender. Find the Mackie and click "Control". Make X-Touch Mini as "Receive From" and "Send To" .

In Studio One find in upper left corner “Control” then “Edid Devices”. Click “X-Touch Mini” and click “Sends” in the panel that appears. Here you should see the sands you have. Make sure you have send on some of your channels.
