Question

New user of Studio One, I installed v5.3 on a Mac Pro 4,1 (flashed to 5,1 2 x 2,26 GHz - Mojave). I'm having big issues with cpu spikes, even on empty song/project. I use a RedNet Pcie card.

Tried 5.2.1, same behaviour.

Exact same issue. Just put in a support ticket.

I get spikes just opening S1. No tracks loaded.

Literally did not have this problem before upgrading my OS to Big Sur.

I could have tons of tracks, VST plugins, virtual instruments and never have a problem.
