I’ve been having a really hard time recording because of constant CPU spikes.
I know about changing the buffer size, but that doesn’t seem to help. I only have two tracks with one VST on each and that still overloads the CPU.
I didn’t have this issue before when I used my Axe FX II as an Audio Interface, but had to sell it unfortunately. So now I’m using an older Audiobox 96 I got years ago. This makes me think maybe if I upgraded my AI it’d fix the issue?
What other options are there that can get rid of CPU spikes when recording?
