Although there is a button one clicks to bring up the colour palette for a track - it would also be useful to be able to right-click on a track and just select SET COLOUR from the context menu.
in fact its just good GUI and HIG practice to have ALL the actions one can apply to any selected object for which one has invoked a contextual menu included in such menus.
