Question

I am using Studio One 4 with StudioLive AR8 and I am trying to record a podcast. Studio One seems to pick up the sound from the mics, but not when I record.  When I record and talk into the mic, my voice isn't recorded. I am not sure if I am doing something wrong?  Thank you in advance for your help.

Make sure you are arm the recording this will be indicated by the record icon being red in the tracklist then either on the main controls select record or on your AR8 (not familiar with this mixer) hit the record button. Also you may want to check to make sure your mic doesn't require phantom power.
