Can we please take a look at what can be done in the new sampler in Logic Pro X. For instance if I add a 808 bass to a pad, I wish to be able to click a button that turns that note into playable notes on one pad like Native Instruments Maschine. This is done in Logic Pro sampler as well. Impact is good for simple things but it's time for way more advance features guys. Impact and Sample One should have some sort of linking feature or away to convert back and forth making it a creative solution between the two. Or just add a new sampler to the list of limited instruments already in Studio One 5.

Why don't we have slicing feature yet? One pad in the sampler (impact) should be able to act like the MPC or Maschine sampler. Slicing in the arranger is cool but we need an effective way to achieve this in the samplers. We can also look at Serato Sampler as well. It's a reason why it's popular. Reason Studio just updated their sampler and introduced another one call Mimic. We need these improved or new tools for beat making process. You developers may not see the value but it's a huge request from the music making community. Trust me!!!

I totally agree with you. Logic 10.5 became a monster in sampling capability, and we need an update for S1. Cubase also has a great feature that's lacked in S1. More people need to vote on this, come on guys!
