I love that they implemented this in 7.2, however the cursor should ALSO stay centered when the user hits the 'rewind' shortcut key, it currently only stays 'centered' when you hit the "forward" key. When toggled, the cursor should remain stay DEAD CENTER on the timeline, whether hitting forward or rewind. i.e. the word "continuous" in "continuous centered".

A simple toggle on/off that allows EITHER:

1. The cursor moves freely from left to right (like it does currently) or
2. The cursor is ALWAYS centered and the TIMELINE data is what is scrolling **right to left** left to right with a fixed playhead that is centered on the screen. YESSS!

This is ESPECIALLY helpful when zoomed in instead of the constant jumping around from left to right.

I requested this myself a few months ago. It would be great for playing/rehearsing along with the recording.

Correction to the wording of the request: The events and data would scroll from right to left past the time cursor.

My old DAW had this option and it's how I prefer to work. It's much easier on the eyes not having to track the cursor all the time, and you can always see what's coming up.

I sure hope this gets implemented.

This would be a great feature, I add the cursor from the end every time.

i thought it would be built in by itself. now it has driven me here. please, this feature is so important. this disappearing cursor into the off is so annoying

Yes, this please!  SO MANY people use this as the basis of their workflow, especially in scoring.  I am trialing Studio One 6 because it's Sound Variations seems infinitely better than Cubase's Expression Maps.  I am seriously building an S1 template and ready to switch, and then I hit this roadblock, and it's about as much of a deal breaker as Sound Variations was going to be my deal maker for switching from Cubase.  If someone from Presonus could just acknowledge this short-coming and promise an update, it would go a long way with me for now.
