Have ability to bring up scenes for Show page mixer would eliminate the transfer and re-entry of files when setting up gain staging for a live show. This important b/c a mix done on studio monitors may not translate when applied to a PA system.

I agree with this. In Ableton, you can switch back and fourth to the scenes. This will allow the performer to mute tracks, update levels withouth having to go back and to the arrangement page and re-sending the song back to the show page.
