Can I plug my mesa amp speaker output into the line input of my Prosonus 68C without damaging anything?

I want to hear my amp while recording and don’t want to mic the amp to record.  The amp is a mesa boogie Fillmore 50 with additional speaker outputs.   Plugging my guitar directly into the 68C creates too much latency and I’ve tried everything to eliminate it with no luck.

No.

You don't want to pump that much voltage into a line input circuit.

Get a DI box that has a "speaker" toggle if you want to connect the Speaker output of an amp to a line level input.
