Channel Input VU metering with selectable sensitivities right on the console would be great. Most analog emulations tend to favor 0 VU or 18 dbfs. It's wonderful to have this option when a mixer is connected to Studio One but it would be great to have this gain staging tool right on the mixer to get the most out of analog emulations, be it plugins or the onboard processing, without having to waste time connecting a computer and/or constantly scrolling to see vu meters on a daw for live sessions with higher channel counts.
