When I got a new macbook I found that melodyne 5 was not working in studio one 5. Nothing on the internet knew what was wrong. Here is the solution!
Go to aplications folder right click studio one 5 click get info mark box that says open using rosetta.
in the melodyne changelog it says it works with apple silicon under rosetta but apparently that means your daw has to be running under rosetta. absolutely absurd that melodyne hasnt updated to be compatible with apple silicon. its been out for 2 years already.
