I currently run Studio One 3 Professional with the most current update.  My OS is Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.  My computer is a custom build and has exceedingly more than the minimum requirements to run Studio One 3 Pro.  I'm having problems with installing the Valhalla reverbs.  I install them in the correct Vst folders but can't get Studio One 3 to recognize that they're there.  Anyone have any issues with any of the Valhalla effect plug-ins?

I have all the Valhalla stuff and they are recognized and work fine. So you are sure you have them installed into a directory which you also have in your studio one vst scan path setting, located in Options-Locations-Vst Plug-ins ? Also, and maybe a silly question . . . but . . . say if you had your browser set to type and you were only searching the vst3 type they wouldn't show up as they would be under type vst2.

Hey everyone.  I just wanted to let you know that working together with Sean Costello from Valhalla DSP, I was able to get his plugins to work.  I just have to say the VERY first thing that I did was to check locations where the plugins were installed and sure enough, the dll files were right there.  I'm a seasoned user of DAWs, so this wasn't a rookie mistake where I didn't know where the dll files were installed.  I have a custom built system with a custom directory and I'm install all my VSTs in a specific location(s).  I tried various updates.  Sean even emailed me a current file that he hadn't even posted online yet to see if it would work better.  Nothing.  Emailing back and forth, we tried a few more things.  What ended up working (I have yet to research as to why) was clicking on the button "Reset Blacklist" located on the "Locations" tab. Studio One 3.2 then re-scanned the VST folder and Valhalla!  There they were!

Due to my busy schedule, I have not had the time yet to research why this worked.  It's funny.  Sean said that he was going to go off and do the same =)  Have to say those plugins are incredible!!!  I am so glad to have gotten them to finally work!

I have just installed the free Freq echo and Studio One 3.3.1 did not like it at all. Firstly it went into some sort of feedback mode but the program crashed on closing everytime. Once I removed it all was well again. Something there going on that Studio One does not seem to like.
