Setting up studio for 2 purposes
1. Rehearsal - 16 channels with headphone cues - using Presonus software
2. Live recording and overdubbing (up to 16 tracks) - creating cue mixes for musicians - using Logic Pro
Q:
1. Will the 16R achieve these goals? or
2. Will a Studiolive mixer have the same interface in it? Will it streamline live mixing vs using software in terms of cue mixes etc?
Currently using a ********* 18 Xair - obviously the interface is not great for live tracking
