A few times, my FOH tech has powered down the board while an SD card recording was still active, or unsaved. It would be a lifesaver if the board warned you to stop/save the recording first, or better yet - didn't allow you to soft power down if a recording was still active (with a prompt) - especially since doing so makes you lose your entire recording. Alternatively, you could tell the board to finalize or save the recordings as part of the shut down sequence, but that seems like it would be more involved and less practical. Obviously it would be great if we could just never forget again, but we are after all, human.
