WHAT'S CURRENTLY POSSIBLE :
Studio One allows to have following zoom overview features for quickly zooming in/out for easy navigation :
1. Zoom Overview : This let's you zoom out completely in the arrangement window, by adjusting the horizontal and vertical zoom levels appropriately, so that your entire song arrangement fits into your screen. The command for this is "Zoom Full"
2. Zoom Overview Horizontally : This zooms outs the arrangement horizontally such that your entire song timeline fits into the screen by adjusting the horizontal zoom level in the arrangement appropriately while keeping the vertical zoom level (Track Heights) unchanged and intact. The command for this is "Zoom Full Horizontally".
3. Zoom to Selection : This zooms in the arrangement such that the selected event/range fits into the entire screen area by adjusting the vertical & horizontal zoom levels appropriately. The command for this is "Zoom to Selection"
4. Zoom to Selection Horizontally : This zooms in the arrangement such that the selected event/range from event/range start to event/range end fits into the screen horizontally, by adjusting the horizontal zoom level appropriately while keeping the vertical zoom level (Selection Height) unchanged and intact. The command for this is "Zoom to Selection Horizontally"
WHAT MORE IS NEEDED (FEATURE REQUEST) :
Please add the following features/commands into Studio One as well :
5. Zoom Overview Vertical : This should zoom out of the arrangement vertically such that all your tracks from first to last, fit into the screen by adjusting the vertical zoom level (Track Heights) in the arrangement appropriately while keeping the horizontal zoom level of arrangement intact and unchanged.
6. Zoom to Selection Vertically : This should zoom in the arrangement such that the height of selected event/range fits into the entire screen vertically, by adjusting the vertical zoom level appropriately while keeping the horizontal zoom level of arrangement unchanged and intact.
These features/commands are needed for the sake of completeness and easier navigation, but more importantly they are needed because they are actually useful and I'd like to incorporate them into my workflow and macro building process.
