Coult it be possible to add a Inserts tab to the IO settings for those of us that use external hardware compressors fx modules and such, with multi input interfaces that could be set up as template or default simile pro tools then be able to use them as inserts in the channel chain. EG: i use in and out 24 in my interface to the in and out of my 76 compressor and set this in the inserts tab of the IO once this is done i can go to the input channel in which i plan to record my singer and in between some plugins i also can go to my inserts and use my compressor wherever i want it on the chain, or like possible in studio one i could just set the input channel the way i want it or more than one and have the inserts including the external hardware added to them . IDK i really feel like for us using external hardware this could be beneficial.
