Hello. I have the exact same problem. As soon as I plug in an audio interface it starts to crackle. Sounds like a glitchy cable, kind of. Without the interfaces the sound is fine. The CPU meter is constantly around 20-30% and sometimes it spikes, showing red. I have tried the same as you, even turned off sound programs that came with the laptop (Nahimic) and tried different audio interfaces (Focusrite Scarlett Solo, Presonus Studio 24c). My old laptop had no problems (Studio One 4) but since I upgraded to Studio One 6 the old laptop got slower, and my new one get these crackles.

I am running Studio One 6 on an MSI Pulse 17 B13-VGK, i7 (13700H), 16Gb Ram, 1000Gb Nvme disc. So the laptop is powerful enough. Can Presonus give some answers? It is really frustrating.

ASIO4All is not required. It is only "required" for non-ASIO sound cards.
