Question

Hi.   My DAW has started to crackle and pop dureing playback and recording.  I connect to a USB3 on my laptop.  

Here are the specs.   Brand spanking new Presonus Studio 192 unit

Laptop specs: Packard Bell Easynote LS11HR
Intel core i7-2630QM cpu @ 2.00 GHz
Ram 8 GB
Windows 10 Home version 1611  build 10586.104  64bit
OS and software hdd :  Samsung EVOIII 250GB  
recording HD built in : Toshiba MK7559GSXP 750GB
Display adapter  AMD radeon 6700M series.

Hi,

Have you optimized your computer for audio?  There are articles in the "Knowledge base" that deal with this process. Is this a new computer that came with win 10, or did you add it yourself? There is a lot of possibilities here and I would recommend you start a tech service ticket and let them sort you out.
