Everytime I launch Studio 3, all my player playback music suddenly go very slow in tempo. (Mixcloud, youtube and etc)

I had Google and found this: http://www.presonus.com/community/Learn/Optimizing-Windows-Vista-and-Windows-7-for-Music-Production

Apparently, I updated my driver and it seem like it is still not working fine.

Is it because of the Firewire connection is really outdated? I read that it is better for me to approach here for help.

I am using Focusrite Saffire Pro24 sound card, i7 3820 PC with 16gb ram.

The reason is the sample rate for your interface is set to a different sample rate than what Windows is set to.

Unlike Mac OS X where changes in the device control panel for sample rate are followed by the OS, Windows requires that you set the sample rate for Windows Audio to match what is in your Device Control panel.

For example if your device control panel is set for 96KHz playback and you want to play Windows audio at 44.1kHz or 48kHz, the audio will play at a slower speed. You would need to either change your device control panel to match Windows or go into advanced Sound Properties in Windows Playback devices and change the sample rate for each output you want to play at 96KHz. (or whatever your device is set to).

Hi. I am using a RM32AI with Capture2 2.2.0 Build 37685 and Studio One 3.3.0 Build 39252 on a MacPro laptop. The recorded audio plays back just right in Capture, but once the Capture doc is opened in Studio One, the playback is just a bit slow. Seems like this may be the same problem. Sorry, but this isn't an answer, but maybe it gets us all closer to a solution. -Craig
