Expose Splitter to automation

It would be useful to expose the splitter tool settings to automation and macro controls. The possibility of eg. automate the level of two different splits, or activate/deactivate one chain (split) with one button, would be a great workflow improvement.

I'd also like to see panning options in the splitter
