When using a MIDI controller such as the Akai MPK249 with Split Channel enabled, S1 allows you can create a player for the keyboard and a separate player for the keyboard's PADs.
But when I create my shows at home using a PreSonus 1810 on my desktop computer then arrive at a live gig using a PreSonus AudioBox and my laptop, the MIDI input selection for each player (initially displays as None) now only allows for section of the MIDI controller (i.e. Akai MPK249) but no option to select which MIDI channel. This seems like a huge omission and also an easy fix since the create new player workflow has this feature.
