I want to highlight everything i deem related to a group (FX, busses, audio and instrument tracks, VCAs etc.) and create a group then create a macro that does this.
Select "group name here" (shortcut i want)
Show Track(s) (already a shortcut). shows only the selected tracks
I know i can do this with scenes where i'd highlight those tracks and then show tracks then add scene, then create a shortcut that selects that scene number (oh how i wish i had a select scene name option instead seeing i may delete a scene and then all numbers will change accordingly but the name will remain the same) But as of right now i like to use my scenes for different snapshots of my mix as i progress in mixing as opposed to saving a new version of the session or saving as his way i don't have to keep opening and reopening sessions.
