Can't get AVID S1 to connect to Studio One 6, why???
Hi, so many guys told me how great Studio One is do I decided to jump ship from Pro Tools and check it out and get a liscence.
So far, not happy that I can not get my AVID S1 board to be recognized and watched a few guys on YT claim success using Mackie protocol. After further investigation many are screaming "Why no EUCON SUPPORT???"
I am using Windows and followed as much as I could on YT and other forums and lot's of unhappy ppl out there with same issues as it seems, am I wrong about this, is there a solution to getting my AVID S1 to connect to Studio One 6?
Right now I have a trace of connectivity, when I move a fader on the S1, I can see the Studio One software/track volume move up and down as well as the pan knob L/R... although my S1 is not engaged and the track names or any signs of life are not there on the board, all there is are the lights showing that the board is plugged in and turned on, but no engagement with DAW.
Any help on this would be great, hate to feel like I can not get my work done in this new software environment and wasted my $$$.
I'm trying to be pleasant but getting frustrated.
happy holidays and hope to hear from someone who may have a solution.
Hope this makes sense?
:)
Thank you
