(i.e. audio files, music loops, midi clips, patterns, etc.)

You have your song running, and want to try new loops in the context and simultaneously.

Search for sonic combinations within loops - within context - , without actually laying them into the song yet.

I'm not saying how this should this bone. Reinvent the wheel.
