I'm requesting a feature as described in the tittle.
When arranging electronic music it's much more preferable (actually essential) to have the automation move with the MIDI programming.
It's currently not possible to dial in automation using hardware straight to an arrange region.
Adding a transfer function would facilitate electronic music production greatly.
