I have a AMD 4 Core 3,9 GHz PC with 8GB RAM. If I use chords and an arpegiator in my Studio 3 Prof. I have some interrupting sounds and the PC performace is at 100%. Should I buy 8GB more to solve this problem or is it irrelevant?

This is dependent on what sampling rate and buffer size you are trying to record at. You might need to raise your buffer size to help accommodate the plugins you are using.
