Anyone who has Studio One 2, or has activated Studio One 3 on their computer once, and then has changes their password in MyPreSonus may experience a login error when Studio One 3 either tries to activate or access their MyPreSonus account to authenticate the Product Key and credentials. This error may also occur while attempting to install Content.
To fix, there is a way to reset Studio One 3 so that you are prompted to re-enter your credentials.
NOTE: This information was recently changed, it is not necessary to remove the user.license file to resolve this issue.
- This change can be done while Studio One 3 is running and when retrying the function that was failing previously, Studio One will then show a log in window.
- There's no reason to remove the license files or even restart Studio One..
