Greetings, I'm a new FireStudio Studio user. I'm trying to do basic recording, and I suspect I've got a very simple issue. I'm not seeing any input in my recording software. Here's what I'm doing:

* I've plugged an instrument into Mic/Instrument #1

* I've set the gain to 12:00 and I can see the green and yellow level indicators light up when I play

* I've got the FireWire cable plugged into a Thunderbolt adapter for my MacBook Air

* I've created a new song in Studio One, created a new track, and assigned the input to Input 1

* I'm seeing no level in StudioOne when I play the instrument

* I've also tried GarageBand: created a new song, set the input to PreSonus FireStudio, and added a new track

* I'm seeing no level in GarageBand when I play the instrument.

Here's some more info:

  • Your Computer Make and Model: MacBook Air
  • Operating System and Version: OS X El Capitan 10.11.6
  • Application Version: Studio One 2.6.5
  • Audio Interface and it's Driver Version: FireStudio Project (driver version?)
  • Digital Mixer and it's Driver/Firmware Version (digital mixer?)
