HP, Windows 10 Home,Studio one 3.3.3.41198 win x64, Audiobox USB  10.0.14393.0,

When using audiobox as I/O in the song settings the sound can be visualized in the software environment but does not come through the onboard pc hardware playback 3.5mm jack.  When using windows audio as the I/O, the audio comes through with latency.

That's correct, that's intended behavior. When you set the AudioBox USB as your audio interface, it is exclusively handling the inputs and outputs of Studio One 3. Essentially, it's bypassing the internal soundcard in your computer for Studio One 3 playback. So if you're using the AudioBox USB as your audio interface, all of your monitoring will be done through the AudioBox USB.
