I create a new blanc session. Then two empty mono tracks.

I choose input 1 for the first track and input 2 for the second track.

On the first track insert I load Waves GTR3 tool track mono/stereo and choose a preset for guitar.

On the second track insert I load a second instance of Waves GTR3 tool track mono/stereo And it´s all fine.

As soon as i choose a preset for bass everything goes to hell. A very loud distorted sound is all i get and this goes one until the second insert is removed.

This happens with or without track monitoring active.

I´ve tried this on windows 10 pro and windows 7 pro both 64 bits with the same results.

My audio device is a M-Audio profire 610.

My pc: Asus p6t. Intel I7 920. 12 Gb of triple channel DDR3 1600. Nvidia gtx 970.

I also tried this on pro tools M-powered 8.05 and everything was perfectly fine.

I suggest contacting Waves Support. It is up to the developer of a plug-in to ensure compatibility with Studio one. They may have an update or be able to reproduce this and offer a quick fix.

Similar issue with Studio One (version 3 and version 4) with two instances of Waves GTR.  Constant noise comes out of the plugin.

Didn't try it with Waves V9.  Using Waves V10.

I opened a support ticket with Waves.

This does not happen in Cakewalk.  Haven't tried Pro Tools.

Surprised to see Presonus doesn't not take any responsibility for issues like this.  Assumed it was more of a partnership between plugin manufactures and the developers of the Host software.
