It would be nice to have the possibility to create beaming across barlines.

I agree. This is a very basic need in modern notation, and also individual barlines should be able to be hidden in printing.

Frankly, I don't care if you add this feature or not. It's such a basic thing to expect in a notation program that its absence has convinced I just wasted my money. I'm cutting my losses and moving on to real software, not one that makes a game out of voting for things it should include.
