I can successfully record audio through my Audient two-channel device and Presonus Studio One Artist. I am trying to add some shaker sounds to a bossa nova style song and want to use the virtual instrument "Salsa Kit" in Presence/Instruments/Percussion. I watched the how-to video on recording a virtual instrument several times and created a track by dragging and dropping as instructed. When I click on the virtual keyboard I get levels on the Presence main, main out, and can hear it on the headphones. Problem is that when I record that track there are no levels on input and thus, no recording.
