Greetings!

I've recently bought a new screen for my studio which has built in speakers, when I switched to this screen something made either my mixer or windows drop audio-signal. When I turn my studiolive 32 on and off its shown up in "playback devices" as it should. After a few minutes of playing audio, the audio signal suddenly drops and wont return until I restart my mixer again. Playing audio through my screen is no problem, but playing audio through my mixer only works for a few minutes. This ONLY happens when I have the nvidia display driver installed, I face no problems once I uninstall the driver. I cannot use my PC without this driver due to my monitor being 4k and running it without nvidia display driver puts my resolution at 720p.

Thanks in advance!

Your Graphics card is causing a conflict with the USB Port you are connecting the Mixer to.

It's likely that the USB hub is sharing resources with the Graphics card, which nVidia products have been well known to cause issues with Audio Devices.

Try switching USB Ports or purchase a dedicated USB 2.0 card to install (if desktop) or purchase a powered USB hub, and see if that corrects the issue.

There is one other possible solution thats a little more costly but might prove helpful. It actually solved most of my latency and hardware issues. If you're using a desktop or tower computer, upgrade your power supply. This may sound crazy but here's why! When you buy a computer today, regardless of it's features, they usually come with a low-watt power supply. Most people putting in high-end graphics cards have to upgrade immediately for the new cards to function. The computer makes calculations of what hardware is in use and who needs power. When power is in short supply... usb, firewire, and other ports momentarily are cut from the power! Try 800 or 1000watts.
